I would not be brave enough to try to recreate from a picture but good luck...the quilt is beautiful!

I looked after the first mention of Jean Ray Laury, and didn't see anything close.

Jean Ray Laury died in 2011, a great loss to the quilting and art world.

Lots of great suggestions. She will have to use the pictures if she decides to copy it as she has no access to the quilt itself. She is very talented at copying things she see so if she decides to make a go at it then her picture is the way to go.
