Good morning all. My plans are to keep piecing on the star blocks of a pattern called Lake Oswego Stars. They are pieced old school style and have been very bratty going together. Forty blocks need to be made and I'm only on #18, but who's counting (me!). I'm also hand quilting a beautiful kaleidoscope table runner JenniePenny sent to me for Christmas. The way the weather is supposed to be in the northeast, think I'll stay in my sewing room the rest of the week too.

I am going to be working on a couple of scrap quilts that are paper pieced. Just going to try and get as many blocks done today as I can. Happy sewing to all, look forward to seeing all the progress

I may join y'all. I have never (can you believe it?) made a Log Cabin block before. I am seriously considering doing the Craftsy free BOM which happens to be the Log Cabin for January. I really should be working on the hand quilting on a quilt for DGD graduation, but I need to spend time with the Bernina today. Having some serious withdrawals.

Hi my goal for today is to finish quilting and put on binding for my mini mystery train ride quilt. Managed to get the quilt sandwiched yesterday and quilted but when I checked there were a lot of pleats on the back so have unpicked the worst and hopefully will re quilt the rest today. Fingers crossed, I am not very good at sandwiching.

I sewed all day yesterday, in anticipation of today. I finished the last block for my Dancing with the Stars BOM, so today I hope to get the blocks put together into a top. Borders are next month. But yesterday I worked on my "ugly fabric" challenge for my guild. 7 ugly fabrics (in the eyes of the original owners, anyway) to make into a crib size or smaller quilt. The whole thing is on my design wall, taking up every inch of space - so I've been working at it even thought it's not due until June. No pattern - just cutting background half-hexagons & diamonds to fit the spaces. I don't expect to finish today, but hopefully lots more progress.

Dottymo, that reverse applique sampler is going to be stunning! I hope you'll post pics when you're done.
