    I would have no problem with the Argyle look! I think it is beautiful. Your piecing is so precise, I wouldn't change a thing!

    Either of those ideas would work. Light or dark, a contrasting thread is a good bet. My peculiar sense of humor would lead to applique of Scotties.

    I have a daughter who loves argyle-she would think it is one of the prettiest quilts anyone ever made!!! So I don't think the red needs toning down at all. It's lovely!!!
