WOW, I love that layout. See, you gals are so much more advanced and creative than I am. Thanks to all for the ideas and thoughts. I love them. I also like the bold solids mixed in. It really makes the entire thing stand out

By using the sashing, each block stands out.
Without the sashing it's a fun optical illusion.
Your choice. Each one has it's good points.
And yes, this quilt is worth your effort. I'd hope it makes you smile each time you look at it... cause it was created from inspiration!

I'd do it quilt-as-you-go style and use sashing to cover where you've joined the quilted blocks together. Just think, when you're done, you're done; not all that much effort after all for a quilt you're already not sure if it's worth the effort.
