Haha.. I didn't do any math! I just measured the side after I finished because you asked.

But I can say that doing 5/8" sides make a 3-3.5" ball. Make one!

Hey! I had seen this one too but just FYI... her templates are off a bit, at least the hexagons. It may have just been my computer. This is why I made my own.

Actually, I was nervous that it would NOT come out so round but it did! I started stuffing when I had just 2-3 shapes to add. I used polyfil and just packed it in until I was happy with the shape. Happy sewing!
