What a score, looking forward to seeing the pics. I am just starting to collect and really want to get into the old machines, hoping that once I get settled into GA and have room I can get started, really hard to wait after seeing machines like this.

Sorry for the delay folks. All is well, but last night ended up being frustrating.

The evening started out great, My SIL and DIL came by with my Granddaughter (still fun to type that) and Cathy (Mizkaki) came by for a sewing machine chat and swap.

(I have to apologize to Cathy, I was focused on managing several things at once and delayed the unpacking until Cathy left. Truth is, if I had not, we would probably still be there geeking out)

Then I began to unpack the three boxes. Mike from Wolfegangs SURE knows how to pack a machine. Once I remove the items from the box, I could not get the padding to go back in and fit by itself... wow... LOTS of supplies in the rafters now.

It took almost an hour to get it unpacked, then another 30 minutes looking through the packing materials for the 8 wood screws that hold the base to the top, then another 30 minutes doing it again with my DD's help. No screws...

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. I have no doubt that Mike will take care of this, but It really is HARD not to just use the screws I have that would be VERY close to the originals, but not the same. they would recut the threads... Can't let myself do it.

So, I went to bed with narry a pic being taken.

I woke up this morning with a new attitude and took these pictures of the head at least, since I had been "teasing" folks already...

Great news! My DD was able to go through the packing materials and found the screws very carefully bundled...

    Tonight it gets assembled!!!

You're a tease, Steve H! Now, we have to wait to see the whole thing up and ready for its spa treatment that you do so well. .... and then, the after picture. Yes, we'll wait.
