I do more in the fall/winter. I like to be outside in the spring and summer, enjoying the nice weather and gardening. I will do some quilting in the summer, maybe because I'm starting to think of things to do for Christmas and can't wait til the last minute.

I generally quilt more in the winter, when the evenings are dark and you cannot do anything outside.

In the summer, I usually work on my blocks (all by hand)

Fall is NOT in the air here, but it is in Kroger!
I quilt about the same year 'round. Always something going, no rush.

I do both. I love to piece my tops in the summer and quilt them in the winter.

I can't think of a day away from my sewing room, except to go to quilt retreat. But I think I get more finished in the fall and winter

I do more sewing of the quilt tops in the summer months and quilt the tops in the fall/winter months. I'm behind this year compared to other years.

I do more when it is sunny out...motivates. Darkness makes me want to eat lots of chocolate and watch tv. Need to be a snowbird when I retire! I will get lots more quilting done then.

With the heat and humidity which brings the mosquitoes , late July, August and early September are not fun months to be outside. Mid September, October and early November are my months to enjoy the outside. The mornings start to get crisp so the mosquitoes are going away. The leaves are changing and it's apple butter festival time. If it wasn't for college football, I would rather live in a tent during the season. I don't quilt much until November.

I piece during the spring and the summer and do my hand quilting in the fall and winter. I like to have a quilt in my lap to keep me cozy during the long dreary days of winter.
