Now if someone had told me they had a candy apple red machine with white daisies I would have said "ewww". As it turns out though ... I like it

Are there any clear, online pics of them that you could go from?

I showed the picture to my husband, who said that you can't have white daisies on a red machine. I informed him that sewing is a creative endeavor and Candace can have anything she wants. Nice job, Candace! Good for you.

Usually not big fan of repaints but yours is wonderful looking. Love the funky daisies.

It just happens that I saw a video today with a GREEN machine and white daisies. I thought you might like to see it. It is about 4 minutes into this video.

Here is a video of Clare Rowley painting a more modern machine. Personally, I can see painting a vintage machine which has seen better days cosmetically but, to me, the more modern machine looks fine as is. See what you think. It's a time lapse video showing all the steps. She teaches classes on this.

Here's another great video of a man who took a badly neglected Singer 201-2 and refurbished repainted it. It is now a machine anyone would be happy to have. It's amazing, really. He tells you what he is doing; you might want to pause the recording to read the text. He gives a source for decals at the end.
