Great old machine too! You amaze me with what you do with OPJ (otherpeoplesjunk). In my house that is what it would be but in your hands it is a beautiful thing.

There are more photos in the book as well as the treadle stands. That machine most closely matched yours.

Thank you. Yes, I grew up in Western NY in the late 60's and was a #12 fan. Now it is more of a "too stubborn to change"

here is the beginnings of the cleanup of the face and the shuttle race (track it runs in)

here I have cleaned one side and 80% of the needle bar. Brasso, Steel Wool, Cloth, Oil.

How long is that bobbin? End to end and between the rims? I have some bobbins with holes in the rims ( at least I think I do ) and I have no idea what they fit.

Steve, Congrats! That is an interesting machine. Once you get it working, I would love to stop by to see how this machine works. I like the irons on the machine too. Have fun cleaning!

I need to REALLY lubricate it after this weekends cleaning but it should be ready to sew at this point.
