I love your quilt, and your fabrics are so pretty! I doubt you will see any puckers after it is washed. Finish it, you won't be sorry you did. I have been making quilts since the mid 70's and I still make mistakes of one kind or another, almost daily. Done.... is a beautiful word!!

I think it looks fine. When you wash it it will shrink a little and get the nice old-time puckery look.

I bet a lot of people have done that foot bit. I know I have. I didn't rip it out, just switched feet. Either I'm concentrating so much on the quilting to notice the foot, too impatient to start it, or too distracted by something else to notice. LOL

Your blocks are lovely, and good for you for stretching yourself to try new things. Patience is not my strong suit either, and quilting is sure the way to learn it. I figure if I can laugh it myself, then I'm having fun.

Not stupid! Just a little ahead of yourself, maybe

I LIKE THIS QUOTE !!! We all have made mistakes. I don't see much wrong with it. Today is a new day so put it away for a week or so and then tackle back at getting the quilting done. YOU are probably the ONLY person who sees your mistake. We all need to strive to be better quilters but don't beat yourself to death. You learn from your mistake and today is a brand new day. Hang in there !!

Very pretty quilt. Washing and drying when a quilt is finished hides such things.
I have already won the stupid award and I'm not about to give it up. Just when I think I have made all the mistakes there are, another pops up. Sitting and holding our hands would keep us from making mistakes. It wouldn't be much fun though.

It still looks really good. Once you wash it and it puckers you won't be able to tell.

Reminds me of my very first quilt ... I didn't know what a walking foot WAS let alone forget it. Add to that I was SITD using a fancy embroidery stitch. ADD TO THAT ... I was using metallic thread. Needless to say ... it's a very ugly quilt!!

Your quilt is just beautiful just the way it is Don't be so hard on yourself, we all make mistakes and we all learn from them. For me..... I have a tendencies to repeat my mistakes over & over again before I learn from them. I call them blonde moments or senior moments

Well, I am getting closer to finishing the quilting. By this time tomorrow I should be stitching on the binding. I hope!! I am very ready to be done with this.

Thanks for all your kind comments. Surely I won't make this mistake again... I will make a whole new mistake next time!

Very Nice!!!!! Wash and machine dry when you are finished and all those "puckers" will blend with those little puckers that make our quilts beautiful.
