    I don't think you are either a hoarder or cheap. You are "resourceful" with your fabric so that you will be able to create many beautiful items. I admire your thought process and thank you for sharing. We can always learn how to become more "resourceful."

    At the price of batiks, I think it is only smart and thrifty as well! Not a hoarder--just not a spend-thrift!

    Not for the bird nests...fabric takes longer to dry than the grass/twigs/leaves used by the birds to build their nests and can cause baby birds to die of respiratory illness. Fill pillow cases for local vet or rescue centers.
