    It's turning out so nice.... good job. Those quilts made from hexis take so long to make. I did one of the grandmother's flower garden quilts as one of my 1st quilts..... what a learning experience. But, I do love the quilt. Do keep us informed of your progress and snap pics as well.

    Sheri, glad to see you're using all of grandma's fabrics. After all the quilts you made for the grandkids your daughter surely deserves this special one, time-consuming as it may be. It's going to be lovely!

    I think you have already named this new quilt: "Scrappy Hexagons from Grandma's Closet". Just seems appropriate as Grandma made her contribution.

    I am also doing Grandmother's flower garden but with 1930's reproduction fabric. Your hexis look great!

    My Mom and I just finished one similar to yours. We stitched them in rows the desired length and then stitched the rows together all by hand. It was given to my DD for her birthday last month. Sorry I don't have photo at the moment.
