ohhhhhhhhhhhh I want the phaff please...............I have one from the 60's that I found at a dump thrift store,, in a 62" cabinet, for $10.00 and its one of the best sewing machines I have (and its #10 for me).................I wonder if the new, modern Phaff machines are as great as the old ones?

I have a Pfaff treadle that I haven't sewn on yet but it appears to be fine. Also I have a Pffaf 7550 so it's not an old manual type but I sure do like it. I actually have a Bernina 153 also (both computerized machines were bought second hand) but I almost always use the Pfaff because I like the way it sews and I love the "attached" walking foot. If I need it, I just push it down; if I don't need it, I push it back up. No fiddling with it. Yep, just call me lazy! The one thing I do miss on it is the knee lift.

How could you pass up that cabinet? I'd pay $50 for it alone, never mind the nice machine.
