    The quilt looks very nice and your chains look great up close. There is no need to be in a rush to get something done; like you said, the idea is to have fun. The rotary cutter will make it easier to deal with the cutting (my least favorite thing).

    Tom, You might like to consider a tool such as Easy Angle to cut out triangles. For some silly reason I'm scared to measure 7/8 inches. I have two sizes of the tool. They have been life savers.
