luvstoquilt that is a great idea. Also a machine that would actually baste your quilt top--ready for quilting.

There is a vintage machine that uses a spool of thread for the bobbin. I think it is a Singer. I know collectors love to find one. It must not have been useful as it never was made again.

Cone? I'd be happy with a machine that would take the small, 125 yard spool from C&C.

It was called a Twin Spool by National. Oh I have wanted one for so longgggggg

Fabric which doesn't attract , dirt, dogs, cats etc.
pins with point but don't stick in finger and hurt. Or a better way to pin.
