My favorite part is the actual quilting. I am a hand quilter and have been known to purchase a preprinted panel that looks like a pieced quilt and hand quilt the heck out of it. Most people, including other quilters often can not tell it has not been "pieced" or appliqued.

I agree. I like hand sewing the binding and knowing the quilt is almost done!

Depends on the pattern, but usually I like the piecing the best. I don't like sewing on long strips though, like borders. I like little pieces. Especially scrappy/crazy quilts where anything goes! I have lots of fun grabbing random scrappy squares and seeing what comes up next.

I like it all but probably enjoy the stitching the binding by hand the most.

I am with you, love the hand sewing of the binding! Since I am getting older and starting to get arthritis in my hands I know my hand sewing days are numbered so am enjoying it while I can!!!

My favourite part of making a quilt is pulling the quilt out of the dryer and seeing all the dimples.

My favorite part is the piecing, and picking a pattern to make next.
