*** I already have that ailment & can't really afford it on my SS income.
***
*** Have a 221, 301-A, 66- (needs adjustment), 99 (in pieces), & now the 328-K.
***
*** I also have 2 FREE newer plastic (beyond repair) that I will take parts from & scrap.
***
*** Still looking for some of the the flat DISC - if anyone has any they want to sell for trade.

jbj137,

Have you checked Shopgoodwill yet? Seriously exactly what you want / need can be found there right now.

I wouldn't worry about the price either. It's a one time purchase and will complete your machine.

my Dad bought me a 328 Singer for high school graduation too. I’ve sewed about a million miles with it and never had it to a repair shop. Our Granddaughter age 27 expressed interest in sewing so I took it in for service. He put on a new belt & serviced it and only charged me $68.00 which I thought was reasonable. I used it last night and it’s wonderful. I will use it until she comes for it and who knows when that will be. I hate to part with it, but it’s time for it to have a new home.

I converted my Foggy to a treadle SM. Now I feel like the sewing speed has diminished considerably. I am wondering if maybe I should not have converted it to a treadle. Treadling is fun but my projects seem to take a lot longer to finish. Is there a way to speed up a treadle? I seem to remember someone mentioning maybe a larger wheel would speed it up. I just am not sure if due to the body of the machine there would be enough room for a larger wheel to move freely.
Any thoughts? Thanks.
