I just put together my first quilt~I chose a simple Irish Chain and improvised to make it a little bigger~I wanted to put a binding on this quilt but I do not have anyone that I know who quilts (or sews) to show me how~It still came out okay I thought. All of the fabric is sparkly and I added a few butterfly embellishments for interest (and to conceal the imperfections :)

Hi BethAnn -- that quilt is just as cute as a button!! :D

Here is an excellent tutorial on how to do binding. She goes into great depth with lots and lots of pictures. It looks hard but it really isn't. After you do it a couple of times, it will be easy peasy.... :D :D
