I learned so much from these QB friends on the previous FWS quilts...which BTW still aren't finished wished...Fell in love with QNS's stories as she sewed her blocks together. These are the reasons I have followed along. :-)

givio...hope you get your sewing fix soon...I feel your pain...

Thanks, Ok, for the sentiment... but!

Here's my update: My husband _just_ bought me a Singer! Such a surprise! I rarely use the zigzag on my Elna, so I don't think I'll miss it a lot. I'll see how I like this. :-) I've been wishing for one of these, and the RedEye is one of my favorite decal patterns.

Lucky you, Givio! It is electric, is it not? I still have my DG Singer that is a pedal machine I learned to sew on years ago.

Thanks Ok, I wil continue the stories, so you can continue to read and watch this thread! OK, go to: http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...e-t274066.html and see what you think of this outstanding quilter. She took me to Des Moinies for my eye appointments and is a very good quilter, Mother, Grandmother and Wife in my area. She is now starting to teach her Dresden Stack n Whack methods and I am lucky enough to be in the class..may not excel, but enjoying the class anyway. Her LA quilter posted the pictures.

QNS, yes, it has a motor, but the table has the two holes in it for the belt and the stand is iron with the foot pedal. So, I can remove the motor and add a belt if I want it to be a treadle machine again. There is also a little attached electric light, which is very helpful, especially when threading the needle.

    Default Granny and Heather

Well I am finally catching up. I'll post the last 5 weeks of blocks that I just finished doing. Now I hope to keep up,and do the few very ones I still need to do. I don't like getting behind, because when I do I don't get my project finished for a couple years. Thus this years New Year Resolution. Finish at least 5 unfinished quilts. I figure that's not asking to much of myself. And hopefully it will get me to finishing even more. Katie
