I too prefer the light grey sashing, also with the dark cornerstones.

    You do great work, Don.

the light grey makes almost a secondary design.
Lucky you with the serger. I just paid $200 to get it oiled, cleaned and running new, and now it won't work. it has to go back. What a pain in the butt this will be.

I like the secondary patterns that show up with no sashing. If I wanted sashing, it would be the dark with very dark cornerstones to continue the chain pattern.

I'd do the darker gray sashing. Nicely done blocks!

I agree the dark sashing with corner stones to complete the diagonal lines.

Personally I like the dark gray sashing. I put my blocks on a design wall and audition the sashing and borders.

Your quilt is very nice and I would also prefer the dark grey. It makes the blocks stand out.
