Stuff those throw aways into an old pillowcase and sew shut for a dog bed.... donate these to you local animal shelter or a rescue organization. They will very much appreciate them !!

Can't wait to see what you make. I've got many scrappies in the works. I hate to throw away fabric....

Here are some pics of my last few scrap cutting sessions. 2" strips, 2.5" strips, 3.5" strips, bricks, 5" squares, 2.5" squares and 2" X 3.5" rect and the last bag of scraps before cleaning up. I have decided to take a rest from the "quilt size projects" other than the charity quilts. Have several to put binding on and thanks to the QB, I have learned how to machine attach the binding. Yeah! I will work on the smaller things like totes, wall hangings and table runners but needed leaders/enders for this break. On my design wall is a scrappy brick (3.5" X 6.5" rect) just offset pattern - nothing fancy as it will be a utility quilt. I have uncovered a few more scraps (just a small tote) and they will be in the next round of cutting. But for now, some quick and fun projects.

Forgot to add picture of the scrappy block that I make with 2"X 3.5" rectangles. Can be sashed or not! Although mine is scrappy, I have seen it in Civil War- gorgeous!
