I am thankful for these tips too everyone...2 days ago I took an (in-person) workshop on (foundation) paper piecing....and just finished my third and final practice block handed out in the class. Sooo happy because I just couldn't get the hang of it from the couple videos I watched, & now I get it...woo hoo!

I had a really hard time wrappinng my mind around how to do pp'ing on my own. I ended up taking a class at my LQS and it was well worth the price. If, after trying some reasonably easy patterns from either Carol Doak or quilterscache.com, consider a class at your LQS if that is an option for you.
