What a wonderful score on some new (to you) fabric. How nice of her to think of you...I know you will put them to good use.

What a real friend. With all the fabric I have, I should think about doing that.

I was given a bunch of fabric from the stash of a woman who had died. I didn't know her. Her husband asked my friend for help clearing out the sewing room. It sure was fun to go through all that fabric and decide what I would like to have. Yikes, I was exhausted after running it all through the washer and getting it stacked in my fabric closet. I have left the business card of my contact for Project Linus in my fabric closet if my family should have to do the same.

Well, Don, you've hit the quilting jackpot! Can't wait to see your next (50?) creations. Have fun - I know you'll make good use of all that wonderful fabric.

I know how you feel! Just can't pass up such wonderful finds! I bought the Billy Bookcase from IKEA that is only 8" deep and use the comic boards to fold fabrics on and store.. It really helps to see them in color order when choosing for a quilt pattern...........
