    So you put the (let's call it the microwave tulip) in the microwave under the bowl and heat both up together? Great idea. Your fabrics are so pretty. I can see getting carried away making them because they are endless combos of "petals"!

    Here's the basic pattern I used but I enlarged the square sizes from 9 3/4" to 11". She likes them big. You can make any size that suits you. Now bear in mind I made 2 of these & stitched them together so you will have to double everything if you want the "tulip" style. You will have to find the instructions in the list. It's on the second row, seventh one from the left.

    Great idea ! ! ! We also have made SEVERAL of the singles as gifts for friends and family. Everyone loves them.

    What a great idea! And I love Tartan's suggestion to call them tulip bowls - wonderful name.
