They remind me of Bedlum shirts here in Oklahoma. We have 2 main OK ball teams, OU, and OSU, and ball games are important here to most people. Anyway many families have ties to both colleges so are torn as to who to root for. When both Oklahoma teams play each other it is called Bedlum and some people sew the OU and OSU shirts together in the middle to show support for both teams.

Awesome pants, really. You nailed the fitting part which is the most difficult. You get an A++ in class today!!

I don't see why not, as I see it as being no more unusual than the young girls dying their hair that horrid looking purple-grey lately.

I think your pants fit you very well, they are hanging great. I can sew mostly anything I want, but don't anymore. I think you could sew some great pants if you buy the right amount of fabric , try a solid that is the very same color on both sides in case you lay them wrong. The instruction sheet does show clearly how to lay fabric pieces and I still follow those for about 75% of my cutting, I wouldn't recommend that to you until you are proficient. Keep it up, I think you can learn how to sew.

They're kind and cute, actually. I'm sure you'd have at least one person stop and ask where you purchased them. You can tell them "from a place called The Jennr8tr that has Custom design clothing ." People wear anything these days; give it a whirl!

Like someone else said - you nailed the fitting part, which is the hardest! Keep going for it, I think you'll do fine. Just keep in mind, pressing as you sew makes a huge difference in the finished product. It's so important.

I actually started out as a garment sewer and graduated from the master seamstress program here in my state, then moved along to quilting. It makes me quite happy that some quilt patterns are now telling us to press seams open instead of to one side, because that comes more naturally to me LOL!!

Actually, I think they are cute. Most people wouldn't know if it was a mistake or a "design choice".

Well, I was going to say that they look like they fit very nicely, but someone already said it. If you have that down, the rest will follow. I think they look great.
