Great Sun Bonnet Sue blocks. When I make the blocks I blanket stitch the hands on my sewing machine as well as the rest of her whether her hands are on her dress or extended past her dress.

I did turn needle applique on my girls but I have seen ones where everything is blanket stitched. Your fabrics and work are great.

There is something sweet about Sunbonnet Sue. I did 12 wall hangings - one for each month of the year - for my granddaughter and they were all machined using a small zig-zag stitch.

Nice looking Sues. I want to make some Sues someday. Can't wait to see it finished. Some one on this board did Sue being murdered different ways. It was cute too but not sweet.
