I learned from a Facebook video how to cook an entire meal in a dishwasher ! (Not planning to try it, however)

I've been learning free motion quilting on my recently purchased sit down longarm. I'm doing things I never thought I could learn...and feel more comfortable with it each time I try.

Yesterday I learned that it's not a good idea to walk away from the bathtub when you have both taps open wide to soak a quilt that bled in the wash - especially when DH is working on your iron and has just dropped a small part that is now somewhere on the floor.

I learned that at least one SEW GEM sewing machine has a chain to the under bed bits.

I learned it's nice to have a soon to be doctor grandson visit. Dog food and water softener salt bought and in the house, flowers watered, bags taken to Salvation Army, our dogs to dog park. He can't fix my shoulder, but he can take care of heavy stuff for me. Another grandson stopped by and mowed my lawn. Big, strong, caring young men.

I learned that I really need to bring a sewing machine up to the summer cottage! I am in withdrawal! Looking at quilting videos helps... a little...

I learned that I like hand sewing small hexies instead of larger ones. I learned how to make a new spaghetti sauce that the whole family loved.

Today I learned a great deal about training my four dogs, two with issues. I learned too that I need to focus on one issue each day: Monday is laundry and straightening the house, Tuesday is yard work etc.
