My first set of blocks are all finished and labeled and ready to go. I think the block is called Hole In The Barn Door.

I just loved this basket of flags in the print I purchased last year. On this same fabric is also a patriotic horse and a US Map. (One of my swappers last year used those two fussy cuts in their blocks. But, the basket of flags just really caught my eye.

See you soon with a close up of the next set. (I am making 5 sets this year.)

Sorry I won't be able to join in this year. Too many irons in the fire. But I did just get out the top that I made from my block swaps. Am looking for a suitable back. I may have to piece something together. Best wishes to all the participants. Marcia Battle Axe

Thanks Marcia. I totally understand. Have fun, I hope you get to all you want to finish this year. I'd love to see your top when it's all finished.

Very nice block. Are you making the same block and calling it a set? I have 5 different blocks done. It is fun to look thru my stash and figure out what my next block will be.

Yes, I am. But, it's okay if you want make different blocks. Just in case we don't get a big turn out, We'll have the opportunity to receive different blocks. I'm thinking of doing the same just in case. Right now, I have 4 to a set, max 5 sets. 20 block max. If we have at least 5 different players the sets I have will work out.

Just please make sure you mark the blocks with your name so I can try not to send you any of your blocks back.

Judith what is a DP9? Some abbreviations stump me. I saw it was mentioned in the instructions for this swap.

Queenbarbiej, A DP9 is a Disappearing 9 Patch. Here's a link to a tutorial on how to make them.

Now I know what you mean. I never heard of it as DP9. Thanks for the info. I actually have a DP9 in mind for the RWB swap.
