Ok - I am game! I have a new longarm that I am trying to learn to use, so I am not sure how much progress I will make on these, but I am certainly going to try. Some of them are projects that I want to quilt on the longarm, once I get better at using it.
To keep me accountable, here is my list. I kept the numbering random by putting them in alphabetical order and then numbering them. Some are old and had no pattern with them, so I have no idea what they were called.
1. Blue & Brown Quilt
2. Five by Seven
3. Free Motion Mastery in a Month Class Project
4. Home Is Sew-A-Long
5. Houston Shop Hop Quilt from 2023
6. Hugs & Kisses Baby Quilt
7. Labyrinth Table Runner
8. Oh My Stars
9. Scrap as you Go Table Runner
10. Snow Place Like Home
11. The Ultimate Beginner's Quilt
12. Unknown - Calling it Double Squares

My backing is prepared, batting is cut to size and all has been ironed. Once I’m back home, I’ll be ready to jump in and quilt it and decide on a binding. I’m leaning towards pulling scraps from my 2 1/2” strip bin for the binding as the top is scrappy. Once quilted, I may change my mind.

Welcome, CardByLeisel! You may be new to the Quilting Board but you are spot on with your list. I recognize #8 and many of my quilts have "homemade names" just so I can identify them.
My progress on #9 is minimal. OK, it is out of the storage space and ready for a good press, I commit to pressing it tomorrow. Time to keep moving ahead. Then let the layering begin. Oh, goodness, do I have a backing? Thought I planned that. Another task for tomorrow. On the other hand I have been back to focusing on my AQS Challenge quilt. About 2/3 of the blocks done, with more cut and ready for assembly. Deadline is looming! That will clear my wall for work on my UFO.
Keep after your UFO team members and post photos of your progress. You don't need to wait for the finish!

Awesome finish twhvlr. Always a good feeling to have completed a project and in perfect timing!
I just sent one of my UFQ's (UnFinished Quilts) to my aunt's house for quilting. She has a long arm and enjoys that part of quilting as much as I love the piecing!). It's been sitting, waiting to be quilted, while I searched for the perfect backing. Bought one over the holidays so progress is being made.

Yea! for progress, Stitches23. Do you make your binding while you're wating for your quilt to be quilted. I found this to be be helpful. I can trim up the top and immediately finish the quilt. Sometimes,, I will even make the label. Check, chech off the list. Well, most of the time it goes that quickly.

I have the fabric set aside for the binding. Right now, I'm working on the BH mystery so will not make the binding till that is finished. Last time I made binding ahead of time I put it away is a special place in my sewing room. I lost it and had to make more to bind the quilt. Then, of course, I found it. LOL. Some quilts I make a special label for, others I just sew on a woven label I had designed with a cute saying and my name. It works.

Hello all. I’m in for 12 finishes in 12 months UFO Challenge. Do we need to post our list here? My number #9 will be to bind 3 quilts. The same 3 quilts I have been on my list to complete for the last 6 months or more. I figure complete. Per week.

So I finally got into my sewing space (most of it is in boxes still from last year) and audited my UFOs. I had more UFOs than I imagined. 22 quilts in various states of completion. I counted anything where I had started cutting fabric.
I’m hoping to get each one done… the puff quilt will be a huge undertaking. I’m also working on the Alice caroline 100 block sampler, but don’t expect that to be finished this year. Once I’ve finished that sampler, I have the Tula one to work on. I’ve also inherited my mum’s dear Jane… but want to improve my skills a little before doing that!
- Blackford beauty stash buster project
- Trailhead
- Danis square quilt
- buttercup blossom top (baste, quilt & bind)
- Halloween mini quilt (for the cats)
- RSS squared quilt
- Tula pink bag
- puff puff quilt
- sixteen sawteeths quilt
- Advent tags/bags
- danis Halloween quilt (baste, quilt & bind)
- RSS economy block swap quilt

Thank you for the lists everyone! Aren't we a creative bunch of quilters!!. I am seeing some very interesting quilt names. So much to do and yea for us because we are determined and committed to accomplish some finishes of these UFOs this year.
I had a PM conversation with our leader of 2025, Happylab. Did any of last year's participants finish all of the designated UFO's 1 - 12? If you are one of the magnificent UFO finishers, PM Happylab. She has a little surprise for you to acknowledge climbing to the top of the mountain successfully.
