I asked my husband to make me a pair ( one large, one small). I drew him a template and he cut hardwood using them , he then sanded them and l told him not to add finish.. They don't have the finger groove but their shape allows easy pick up. I love them! Before asking him to make mine , l tried the concept using a sanded piece of 2 x 4 that was sittjng around.
