tight sholder muscles are my problem too. went to chiropractor, masssage. noting helped. went to reflexology and she massaged my baby toe and the pain disappeared. so will make another appointment this month, too much quilting and chatting on the computer.

Dr. gives DH a prescription for Flexeril to take before bed. He says it works great to take the edge off his aches and pains and he can sleep through the night pain free.

I had a back problem a year ago and the doctor sent me to physical therapy. The therapist did wonders for me. He did moist heating pads and put me on a traction table. I hope you have relief soon.

I have a rx for Soma, It made me a little dizzy. Did see a chiro, had an adjustment, massage ... Helped a little. Can't afford acupuncture but will look for a reflexologist.

So far I'm able to work my pains out, so must not be anything serious. If my back hurts, I keep doing as though nothing is wrong, pretty soon it's gone. I hope this keeps working for me. I wonder if ice would work better than heat. When Hubby gets a backache he uses ice, heat feels better, cold eleviates the swelling and that helps.
