Welcome from NY. It always amazes me how people can lurk here for any length of time. I couldn't last more than an hour before I joined.

Welcome from Oklahoma with a Massachusetts accent. So happy you could be here. There is always room for one more quilter.

I have been reading for several weeks now-I guess getting up the nerve to call myself a quilter. I have made 3 full size quilts-and gave them all away. I made a Memory quilt for my son's graduation (which I think was my best work); another as a wedding gift with photos of the bride and groom from birth to engagement; and another graduation quilt for a dear friend (which I think was the prettiest). I will try to get pics online. I remember quilting around a frame that was raised and lowered from the ceiling at my grandma's house. Now, I hand quilt some, but have used my machine more since it is more time efficient. Let me say that I have learned so much just reading and look forward to making many new friends!

I too am new here and like you had been lurking and looking at all the pretty things here and finally decide to be brave and join up. I love this sight. I have learned a lot just by "snooping" around.!
