I guess I'm low-tech here on this one too. I attached 3 curtain hooks (end, middle, end) and rung it on my curtain rod. I don't have a wall space available to attach one to. Then I looked at at window, which is 84" wide. It works for me.

Oh yeah! My design wall is 6ft x 8 ft.
I used (6) 2x4 pieces of insulation board, taped together. on the back, I reinforced the seams with some old wooden yard sticks I bought for 5 cents each maybe 10 yrs ago; covered it with a white cotton king size sheet from the 2nd hand store. Hung it using white string tied to a nail just above, and below the foam in 2 places( the string acts as a bracket) giving me 3 equal work areas , or, (they're barely noticable) one large area.
I currently have 4 projects up there.. the sinature blocks from the swap I participated in here; some pp stars for a red white & b blue quilt; a Woven ribbons top, ( mostly pieced) and a 'twister' baby quilt for a co-worker. I LOVE that thing!

My design wall is two 8' x 4' foam insulation board covered in felt stapled to my wall so it's 8 x 8. It was ridiculous to lay out a quilt on the floor or a bed and try to work with it.
