I alo wish I would have taken up quilting earlier in my life. And that I would have learned earlier that a woman needs to take time for "herself" at times.

I don't either. This is probably because mature behavior was always expected of me. I never remember being frivolous about anything.
Me too - But I think most of my lack of memory is due to it being in the 70's, and I wasn't always a "good" girl then.

Ditto here, too! First born, large family, lots of responsibilities. There are times I wish I'd been a bit less responsible and had had a bit more fun. Oh well. Happy now. No real regrets.

I would NOT have sold the house in California for $30,000 in 1968. It sold for $900,000 about 4 years ago. Dang!

Exactly the same thing for me! I share most stories as a life lesson for my dd(20). She's strong and very verbal. You know where she stands. She has no regrets and thanking me for it. For me to make the mistakes she's doing it right the first time. They say mother is always right and I am!

I am who I am because of what and who I was. If I had made any changes things would be different now, but would they be better or worse? If I had changed anything I would have missed out on the things I went through. Better or worse???
I try to let go and let God, so as long as I am who He wants me to be..... I have no regrets and wouldn't do it over.

You to? My childhood was really abusive. None of it stopped until I was 9 yrs old. As a child I put my trust in God and saw me through it all. I still live by what he wants and he still provides. It has only made me humble....
