    It is perfect as it is. I am with the others, I like the diamond effect. Take a few day and look at it on a bed and see if you would like it after it is quilted. You can alway buy more fabric.

    How about just adding a wide gathered lace border on the bottom instead of the triangles. Your bed seems to be saying lace, lace. Just an idea, but it would soften the look. That bed is wonderful. I remember that style when it was the in thing when I was small. Do you have any history on the bed? Don't you wish antiques could speak?

    i was thinking the same thing it is so eye catching with the points who says all quilts must be square go for it and if the quilt police show up tell them we said it was ok!
