Ok, it's been a few months since the body was completed. I was putting it off because the borders needed to be pieced AND I was matching up the apples so it wasn't so noticable. I think this one is going first to LAQ since it is for my oldest daughter. The others don't have a specific recipient yet.

I have white-on-white backing. It's 64" square. She didn't want one for the bed because the dogs lay on it. She picked out the fabric and I did the design.

Wow... I just got together all of the tops that are totally done and there are 7 of them!!
Another is in the frame being quilted.
One given to my brother.
One needs another round of borders
One that is about half done
The Giant Dahlia that needs the applique finished and then figure out a border.

That makes 12 but I can't count two of the tops as being done in 2009 since they were made years ago. I just need to totally finish them and if I make 2 more that will be 12 made this year, which is a goal I set for myself.

I put the fall colored fabrics in the wash for the next project and I think I will do the Mocha Meringe as the 12th one.

Love it!! Black/white/red is one of my favorite color combinations, and I especially like it when it is unexpected fabric patterns. Nice, nice NICE!!!
