    went to a quilting class, it was free, the lqs was celebrating there 10 year anniversery.

    The class was pretty lame, very rushed. They had all the squares made up, all the fabric cut and ready to go so all we did was sew them onto the backing and batting, but I did FINALLY learn how to hand sew on the binding, and I think I did a really good job for a 5 sec. class. :shock:

    Oh it's suppose to be a table runner but mom and I call it an oversized placemat. :wink:

    well thats one nice oversized placemat!! :lol: :lol: and if you learned one thing from a free class then good for you! :mrgreen: and from what I can see you did a great job for your first time!

    Yeah I sew all by hand and grandma and mom never told me to use one, I have found a few in all the stuff I have but have never put one on, I guess trying not to stab myself keeps me focused :lol: or I'm just to dumb to use one when I have them lying around :roll:
