Your "quilting spa" as mentioned by another member is the perfect way to describe your room. What a dreamy space you have. :-D  I do believe we all need to meet there to mess it up just a teency weency bit!

What a beautifult room Good for you and good for your Hubby making you such a great work space. I love all the cabinets and drawers you have. I have some oak cabinet in my sewing room, I love clean and neat and things out of sight.
I have to share my sewing room with 4 cats now, hair sweeps off hardwood floor and wash off the counter top pretty fast and easy. I put everything away when I'm done sewing for the day and that is fast.

My husband just designed and had the cupboards drawn up to scale for the cabinet maker, although he did make the comment later that it would have been cheaper to buy the cabinet maker out and shut him down.

He also enquired how much it was going to cost to fill the cupboards and I replied that he had been paying for the last 40 years.

He is at the present time cleaning up at his large shed / workshop and has resigned himself to the fact that we are both tarred with the one brush.

Great space, great DH.

Love the floor. How do you get it so shiny? Is is impervious to liquids or not?
