    I did my first pincushion according to the directions and wasn't real happy with it..fusing the fabrics made it too stiff..I did 2 more by using a tiny zig zag stitch similar to the second pic I posted and that worked much better and I cut out the fabric layers so it was not so thick also..worked out really well and I used tiny black buttons and liked that better than the fused fabric seeds
