Thanks everyone :) To those that have never tried Bargello...don't be afraid...it's quite easy. I love that it looks complicated...LOL

I had all this fabric in my stash so it was a good way to use some of it up. I got the pattern from e-patterncentral.com. The pattern is for a much bigger quilt but since I didn't have enough stash to make a very large one and I wasn't sure I could actually do it I only did 19 rows across and 32 (I think) rows down.

I'd definitely do another one :)

I actually have the pieces ready to sew into blocks for my first Bargello....but life has gotten in the way for a bit. I absolutely LOVE your layout! Your kind-of Trip Around the World is unique....or at least, I've never seen it before. Hope you don't mind if I borrow it.... Mine is deep and soft purples, deep and soft greys, white and red. Thanks for sharing!
