    Me too. I just bought a Laurel Burch fabric that is black, grey and some kind of funky reddish-rust-cranberry looking thing. I hope I can match it. I'm glad I didn't order the red on line. It would never have gone. Good luck with your chase!

    I needed a grey for a cat quilt. For some reason it was hard to find the right shade of solid grey!

    Come to St. Paul. There is purple all over the place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gold too!!!!!! I started this seriously - I don't use much purple and I guess other Minnesota quilters may not either, but the Vikings are Purple and Gold and it just fell together. Go Vikes!!!!! Don't look for Moss here! Edie

    Glad to know I'm not the only one that has probs finding certain shades! Blues.....lots of blues are in every shop. Of course, that's a color I don't need.Have you noticed how hard it is to fine nice TOT or WOW ?

    Rose is a tough one. Blue is considered to be the hardest color to match. Blue is somewhat unforgiving --if you don't get the right blue, you can tell. Other colors will blend more.

    I think that is so funny! I have been looking for Rose colored fabrics too. Very hard to find a real rosey red.
