Mine rarely asks, so I know it is important if he does. So I go help and then come back to my project. I can't complain, when I am working on a project, he'll cook all the meals, clean up and even do laundry!

Since I am always quilting or on here or something, I generally will go right away and help him and come back. He doesn't complain I am in here all day.

Same here. Mine is very independent and rarely asks for help.

My hubby knows, should I be in my quilting room, he usualy doesn't disturb me.

Let him know, before you quilt, that you would like to have some time uninterrupted time.

Should it not work, give him a sweet look and tell him, "One more time, and you will find yourself on the sofa tonight!"

Just kidding!

For me, not only is it hubby but grandbabies as well. My precious little grandson will grab my finger and pull until I go see what he wants.

Don't have this problem he is really good about helping me out when I do quilting Cooking dishes etc. When he asks for help it's needed not just to bug me. He retired early and it did take me a while to adjust but it's great now!

Mine doesn't ask for help when I'm sewing much but he always helps me when I need him so I do the same :)

no hubby to pester but those dogs! they bark to go out and then after getting out bark to come in - then they want to eat, then go out, then come in... frustrating when trying to concentrate on quilting! they made me have to rip several seams out today (yea - easier to blame on dogs!)

I just stop what I am going and help him. Would not trade him for a shipload of gold.
