You just had to make that gorgeous Venice Rose, didn't you!!

I've just ordered the book and piecing papers as my 10 year old saw it, and has now changed her quilt order from a Mariner's Compass to the Venice Rose. :cry:

Thank goodness I hadn't bought the fabric yet.

She had already decided on purple, blue and black for the mariner's compass quilt, and she says she still wants the same colour scheme. I might try to sneak a bit of green in... :mrgreen:
