Two quilts pieced this week! 1 by me, 1 by DH!!!!!

We haven't decided on quilting yet - I think the 'charm squares' will probably be an all over pattern with something in the outer border. The snowball ninepatch will probably have some hearts and flowers in the snowballs and then something all over the ninepatches - possibly a stipple.
My DH started quilting the way I see some of your husbands have... First it was helping to pick fabrics, then a bit of pressing and cutting,then playing with blocks. He was intrigued by the shapes you get in between blocks and started trying to get me to lay out quilts the way HE wanted...... sooooo I said -make your own!! THEN just as we were having this conversation our LQS owner Maeve Meaney in Limerick, asked him if he would be interested in a mens class,the rest, as they say - is history!!!
