    A simply lovely machine. Most of the decals are in great shape for her age. Thank you for sharing this eye candy.

    Ooh, it is so pretty!! I love the front of the cabinet,especially the six drawers. One of my treadles migrated to my DD's home last week. LOL! She doesn't sew but loves the old machines as much as I do.

    i have one exactly like that , my FIL gave it to me years ago , it was his mothers , i wish it could talk the stories it could tell

    That's wonderful. I have one just like it that my grandmother left me. It has the same design on the front of the drawers. Her first husband gave it to her. He died in 1917 so that gives me an idea of the age. Grandma used to laugh at all the "new" electric machines. She said she sewed everything but wood on that old treadle. It never jammed or needed to be babied like the newer ones. She was probably right. It still works today and only needed a new belt. (That's the machine in my avatar.)
