she has so many other quilt commitments - something had to give. she has so many blocks from the red/green that it made sense to let this one go.

Hi wvdek - glad you like it. I've actually had it in my stash for a very long time. I believe it's Marcus Brothers and I'm not quite sure where I purchased it. I tend to find every quilt shop I can when I travel. Sorry I can't pinpoint it down for you...

Sorry, but I don't understand what you are doing? What is the numbers and letters stand for? Does that mean someone wants to make a square for there? Just guessing.

G2 is block row G. 2 is where the block is positioned in the Dear Jane Quilt. So G2=luvmortherest means that person is making G2 for the block swap. hope this helps.

i'm so used to the letter/number thing when people say the block name i have to ask them whats the letter/number.

then i'm like "oh, that block"

There is a "map" in the book - and probably the software, too -
so it's just a shorthand way of indicating the placement of the block in the picture used in the book.
