    https://seattle.craigslist.org/est/for/4828565212.html

White bobbin winder tire. (things one notices.... ;-) ) in pristine condition (machine looks pretty clean too). The front page of the manual also - apparently - shows the white tire.... supposedly from 1911. Can it really be that old and not not have turned solid? Or maybe it is.... anyway, just curious.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/hsh/4824631099.html another one.... now they show up everywhere?

No, the white tire is not original, the machine is not from 1911, and the manual isn't even to that machine.

Default When is a treadle not a treadle

When it's an over priced hand crank.....It sure is cute though!!!
I guess it could be used as a treadle, but how would the belt go through the cabinet?

That child's machine is a cute one. I can't see any holes for the belt to pass through either. Bad camera angle? The wheel is machined for a belt. Children's treadles aren't all that common but I don't think it's a $700 machine even with that.
That White machine: Maybe model# 1927? I would hate to think the seller really thinks it's a 1927 machine. The shipping shows as $15.97 IIRC for me. That seems abnormally cheap. Shipping usually runs around $30 or $40 on Shopgoodwill and is what I would expect to pay. I'm just curious is all.

The second to the last picture shows the holes, they are just much farther away then you would expect because the machine is small (or short, actually) so the angle requires the holes to be farther apart to line up with the flywheel below.
