I am making a 12" hourglass design. Hard to tell from the block what they look like together but I posted my first 2 a couple pages back on this thread. I keep all my cut pieces next to my sewing machine and the completed blocks on my design wall to keep me inspired!

Well I got all excited when I put jeans on Saturday and could zip up without sucking in, but the d*** scale still didn't budge. (Insert bad words here) So I guess I am not losing weight, just rearranging it.

I'm down 6 pounds since we started. But I can't decide on a block I want to do. And after moving all my apt. stuff back home I can't seem to get my head wrapped around putting my sewing room back together. That's my project for today. Everything else is put away. If I can tear myself away from here, I'm going in!

    13 pounds
CONGRATULATIONS. Let us see pics when you make your squares.
I am not going to make squares. I am making a jelly roll quilt with muted colors. After I make the background I am going to add leafs for each pound I lose.
    Keep up the good work.

I changed my mind on what blocks I want to make. I'm still gonna use notions print fabric. I will post pic's later.

Here is the block I decided to use instead of the frienship star. I just needed something easier to do right now.
As soon as I get some more solid colors to match the fabric I have I will make more.

The blue is actually a deep purple
