Mine is my first two initials and my last name minus the vowels.

Went to get a personal license plate and could only have 7 letters.

    ...thus, Sylvester became sylvstr

    giving me mjsylvstr...........

I also did not know what I was doing when signing up so chose Quilt Fan because that is just what I am. Love looking at the different patterns and making what I can master. No end to the variety of pattern ideas and fabric choices.

Having ridden horses all my life and raising mules for abut 25 years, when we would have a new baby mule of course pictures would come out everywhere we went. All my friends knowing of my obsession with mules. One day years ago when I was showing a picture of a mule colt, a lady said oh so you're a "mulema" and it stuck.

My real name is Christine, but my mother often used the European version ... as in ...

Mom walks into living room and notices a huge splotch of orange paint all over the new blue floral sofa slipcovers she just made.
"Krystyna, Krystyna. What is this? Well, that IS a lovely painting of a pumpkin you've made."

Mom walks into my bedroom and sees me hard at work on one of her old skirts, snipping away with scissors in hand.
"Krystyna, Krystyna! My goodness! Isn't that a fancy hula skirt you've made."

Mom passes by the hall closet and notices a sign I enthusiastically made to remind me of the schedule for my soon-to-start violin lessons. It is affixed with to the lovely oak door with glue meant to repair shoes and has a fancy leather frame made from my father's old belts.
"Krystyna, Krystyna! Oh! Oh ... Well, now no one will forget your lessons for a long time. Oh. Oh, my."

So, in keeping with my quilting qualities ... I decided to use the ID Krystyna. Mom passed away many years ago, but with each quilt I finish, I can hear her say ...

"Krystyna, Krystyna. Oh my. What have you made here ..."
You have started a good sharing question. This is page 23 and I am adding my 2 cents. My maiden name was Dust. In High School they called me Dusty and now I am a Mom... so Mom Dusty

I simply used my first and middle name, so there's no creative story behind it. As a matter of fact I've been thinking of how boring that is and I should change it!
