Lauriejo thank you so much for that link! That was the pick me up I needed! You are all being good... so far. I'll talk with Santa about making sure your packages are extra special.

My package is heading either north, to the state above me. Or east, to the state next to me. I hope my sp likes her package.

Someone in Missouri will get a squishy next Friday or Saturday. It's riding on the slow boat. I did not pay for confirmation because I will find out if it arrives on here. Also, paying for delivery confirmation does not make it trackable or traceable, so I saw no point in paying for something I can find out for myself by simply contacting my partner.

It doesn't make it trackable but if it goes missing, it IS traceable after 30 days. And not saying this happens here but in the event you have some people that are less than honest, they can say they never received it and it makes you out the bad guy for not sending your package.

Delivery confirmation is for your protection and it will be required for the next swap. If it's not purchased, you won't be able to participate. Sorry to be this way but it's either we do it or stop doing the swap.

I went and double checked one of my confirmations and it did tell me the stops the package made on it's journey, (I deleted the cities) and this was my largest package so far to ship and it was 80 cents for the delivery confirmation.

Thanks Veronica for posting that. Sometimes they don't scan it until it's delivered but looks like the PO is stepping it up.

Another thing is you can go to www.usps.com and sign up (it's free) and pay and print your labels from there. Delivery confirmation is free if you do it that way. If you have paypal, you can also print labels from there.

Don't know what your postman told you but if you purchase delivery confirmation the receipt they give you for it has a tracking number on it that you can go online to see your package's progress and when it is delivered.

Oh and I forgot to add delivery confirmation is good for US delivery only.
